  1. Wow, that is the hottest 60 year old I have ever seen. by far the best of all shots. and I am 21. hahaha.

  2. Wow, that’s totally cool. I think the 10 year old is most amazing — it’s hard to make people look that young when they’ve passed 20. I would have guessed she was the 30 year old, although I don’t know why.

  3. There is something fabulously enigmatic with maturity. I use that word advisedly because I am 62. The truth is, one becomes far more interesting, less demanding, more at ease with your self and that makes you far more attractive.
Besides, 60 is the new 40. Look at Sophia Loren, Raquel Welch to name a few.
No, nothing to fear about being older. Enjoy it to the maximum. Take care. The Baldchemist.

    The 30-year-old looks creepy!

  78. donnajgamache says:

Very creative and interesting, but please don’t be fooled into thinking every 60 year old can look this way if they are enlightened enough to try. What they’ve done is tone down the color in her makeup and change style of hair, clothes, and accessories to simulate loss of strong color and transition to presumed conservatism in personal style over the years. There’s a whole lot more to aging, my friends, say I from the lofty age of 57, and still looking pretty, pretty good myself. They have only hinted at a few wrinkles in her brow. Wrinkles are not the worst thing about an aging face, in my opinion. The worst thing is the sagging, and this model looks good because they have not simulated that here. Also, this woman has fabulous facial bones, and people with a strong brow, jaw, chin, and cheekbones always age best. That good bone structure will support the sagging skin longer and look better longer than someone with a softer “baby-face”. Yeah, this is a creative and interesting exercise with makeup and lighting, but don’t be fooled into thinking anyone is going to look like this at 50 or 60 without a good cosmetic surgeon to tighten up the sagging skin, and even then it’s still old skin pulled tighter. That’s what I know.

  79. very cool says:

By my opinion, these photos are not a representation of how well the make up artist or the photographer was able to capture this model looking “50″ or looking “10″ – anyone who has a critical eye for art should know not to take things literally. I can’t read French so I can’t get the entire scope of the series, but I would imagine the true statement has to do with embracing age at any age. “You’re as young as you feel” if you will. On the other hand, it could be a statement to the categorization of aging. Pretty brilliant stuff

  90. Christine says:

I think the 40 year old looks the best to me. At that age, you’ve past the stage of caring how others look at you and what they might say. But at 40, women have magnanimous confidence and an inner glow that says “hey, I’ve come this far. I’m great, I’m confident and I can beat the hell out of you!” It is so attractive — that devil-may-care attitude, that both men and women are attracted to women in their 40s. Look at Madonna, Sharon Stone, Nicole Kidman and Jodie Foster – all women in their 40s, and all ravishing!

  91. kays31 says:

The ten year old looks inappropriate. Can’t find the word. . (sorry)
    The others are quite attractive.

  92. sofieb says:

The “10 year old” looks like a 30 year old.

The “30 year old” looks like the 20 year old girl with a hang-over and less classy style (previous 20 year old gone bad).

The “40 year old” looks like a classy and unusually together 20 year old,

the “50 year old” looks like a 25 year old with an unhealthy lifestyle,

the 60 year old looks like Judy Collins.

    • Tony says:

I completely agree with what you said, and I was going to say the same thing. The older she gets, the more trashy she becomes, instead of classy.

Sophia Loren and Gina Lollobrigida have always been photographed with class, ditto Raquel Welch.

Great bone structure and sophistication. All were very good, and if I didn’t know what I was seeing I wouldn’t be looking for the tell tale signs. Being 10 the give away to me is in the eyes but as I said I was looking – otherwise I would say she (you) are another “Pretty Baby” Brooke Shields with a sensual quality way to young. I won’t argue with 20, 30 or 40 and I thought 50 was close to perfect, I could somehow see a touch of hurt experienced through life but next time don’t forget the veins in the hands and last sweet 60, even with shading her neck is a give away that she is younger or has had help. This was wonderful fun – Thank you!

The image of the 10-year-old is creepy, in that she’s sexualized. Very provocative. We know a 10-year-old is not supposed to look sexual at all, but we’re all sexual beings from birth and the photographer seems to be playing off of that. I’d hate to see this sort of image taken the wrong way; then again, it’s for a European audience, not a more (generally) juvenile American one.

I’m not necessarily attracted to the model in any of these photos, though she is, obviously, very beautiful. Funny how I (pushing 40) am most attracted to the 40- and 50-year-old versions. Maybe that means I’m growing up.

As a 19 year old, I loved the 30 year old photo.

It demonstrated a shift in the life of the happy, smiley, 10 to 20 first years of her life to one where the viewer can see that either the 30 year old has been having a tough time as she looks disheveled; or she’s just been having an amazingly pleasant life and is currently a little burned out from excessive partying. The recovery of class and esteem then seen at 40 makes this little story come full circle.

    Really amazing piece.

I loved how make ups changed the look of the model.

  133. That’s one thing I noticed. Someone who had replied to the post noticed the campaigning. If you actually read the words underneath, or understood. It’s actually advertising what a person would look like IF they avoid the use of certain products at a certain age that generally help preserve youth and instead use products that are more, I guess, healthier for the body.
The age of 10 is all about the big promise that the youthful beauty will practically last on into adulthood.
Age 20, if you say no to cigarettes and go for anti-oxidants.
    Age 30, Be Pro-Collagen.
Age 40, Don’t do peeling say yes to the protection of stem cells.
    Age 50, Don’t use silicone.
Age 60, Use creams that reduce lines of aging.
It’s all there which is actually a very true add, however I don’t believe the photographer was able add in the fact that this woman will be surrounded by smokes, smogs, intoxication of different fumes from different things. The aspects are from an absolute world, when alcohol and drugs and smoke and pollution don’t affect a persons well being.

  144. cindylou88 says:

The 10 year old is frighteningly unattractive and disturbing. Perhaps a deliberate attempt to fuse Lolita and a fey, almost gremlin, look. It is obvious that 20 is the correct age because the model’s face seems fuller and healthier. In the other photographs the aging process seems to focus on the prominent bones of the face, particularly the chin and the cheek bones, which “defleshes” them and thus makes them less attractive. The “30″ to me looked like nothing more than a “20″ that had seen a lot of tough breaks in life and also didn’t know how to wear eye shadow. oddly enough at 50 and 60 flesh returns to the face, I suppose to create more shadows. I wouldn’t say this shoot was an unqualified success, but it is a neat concept.

    Fascinating!
It says a lot about how we conceive age – so much of the apparent youth of the first one is that gawky pose. Although the eyelids give it away – far too much definition for a child. I thought the 40 and 50 year old photos were the most attractive.

I actually thought the look of the 30 yr old was telling. At that age many women begin to try to dress and look younger so it comes out looking overdone. Like the look of Carrie on Sex and the City at times.

Overall, good use of prop jewelry, clothing, make up and lighting to highlight the differences between the ages.

This is very interesting. It’s creepy how they made her look 10 years old. That’s the stuff pedophiles live for, very creepy. Now her 30 and 40 year old photos, to me, need to be swapped. I’m 35 and she looks older than me in th “30″ year old photo and looks a whole lot better at 40 than she does at 30. Hmmmm?!? Either way, it’s a good photo shoot. They should try it with women of different ethnicities.

  204. papse says:

This is a great idea for a photo shoot.
Only you look like that fresh in your 50s and 60s if you are kept in the fridge for the rest of your life, stuffed in a regenerating creme.
Another way is to become so rich that for the rest of your life you can only worry for your appearance and having a good time. Having a good time and no worries can do that. Unlucky for the rest of us who have.

  243. fdiary says:

To me this isn’t very realistic because most Caucasian don’t age that gracefully (no offend) after 35 due to thin skin and sun exposer. Those pictures are a “Demi Moore” kind of scenario. Most African American women who take care of themselves however, will age according to that pictures timeline because of the extra built-in protection their skin has against sun damage.

If you take a look at Rachel Zoe she is about 38 to 40 and she looks more like the picture of the 60 year old and really the pic of 60 year looks a little better than Rachel. Those pictures truly are total special effects-magazine work and really not reality for most Caucasian women without the help of Botox or plastic surgery.

  244. Jennifer says:

Her eyes give away the fact that she’s nit 10 in the first image.
For the 20 and 30 ones you’ve made her look too young but the rest are about right.

Interesting concept – done just so so. The hands don’t show any aging nor does the neck – but there are def. age spots on the 10 yr olds chest…30 looks more like a 50 trying to look 30 and missing the mark…take a look at women who are really these ages and you will see lines, loss of fat pads in the face and cheeks, thinning fingers, deepening eye sockets – if you go to the effort and trouble of doing shot, for Gods sake do it the right way!

Yes, stage actors must use creative make-up to create roles of varying ages. Richard Corson’s STAGE MAKEUP is a classic text for how to create different ages and effects with theater make-up. Of course, make-up application for photography models will be more subtle in application, but this book is a great place to start – and may even include appilcation for TV and photo shoots.

Yes, I wasn’t fond of the 30 yr old, but nonetheless still very creative and talented work!

    Kimberly :)

  327. Wow this is pretty crazy. It’s hard to believe it is the same woman.

  328. kingsview says:

I love it! I just wrote a short post today on how age is in the eye of the beholder. Can I link this post so my circle of friends can see your post?

20 is by the far the hottest.

  332. Auntielala says:

Wow hope I look like that at 60!

  333. Alexandra says:

    wow

  334. mermaid_212 says:

wouldnt be nice if we all cld look like this at 60, but in reality who does with out make-up excellent work.

  335. Mark says:

Somehow there seems to be something wrong about the “10-year old” photograph but I guess it would entertain paedophiles. The “30-year old” photograph makes her look like she has a grudge against the world but both the “40-year old” and the “50-year old” photographs just ooze sex-appeal. Amazing photography, and they say the camera never lies!

  336. vicky says:

this is really good, really shows what u can do with tecnology,

  337. Malcolm says:

Very good, did you notice in the 60 year old photo she did not have any lines on her face like a 60 year old would have. Really very good though.

  338. Super Saiyan says:

Yo that’s definetly the hottest 60 year old around, the 10 year old only looks 10 because the boobs aren’t showing lol :D

  339. Kim says:

She looks older in the 40 picture than the 50 picture. I hope I look that good at 60, but it would be with a lot of help!

  340. Mary says:

By the age 60 you need a face/chin lift, botox for the wrinkles and an eyelift and probably liposuction for various areas and possibly a tummy tuck. Let’s not forget laser resurfacing of the skin too. Whatever it takes to hold it all together as long as you have the money to do so.

  341. Georgina Miller says:

Make up is amazing…love the stuff!!

  342. Rell says:

That/s amazing hopefully I will be able to do that & look as good as that when I get to sixty

  343. Bron Barker says:

Although this is an amazing example of how makeup can be used to convey a certain age – and the model must be commended on her amazing ability to capture the essence of each age – I found the 10 yr old photo disturbing due to her concealed, yet alluded to, nudity. I know the model is actually 20, but it still doesn’t make it right.

  344. MVS says:

how about 20 years one, looking like ,say , 1 year old?

  345. 100web2 says:

  346. Ben Vess says:

I find it kind of bizarre that the 10 year old and the 20 year old aren’t wearing clothes. Seems to me there’s a touch of pedophilia here.

  347. melsyJ says:

I don’t believe the images of the ’10′ year old or the ’60′ year old.

    The others are quite good.

  348. nystar1881 says:

I don’t usually click on Stumble Upon’s invitations, and this is not a subject I would be interested in, however I quickly scrolled down to the 60-age, and I do not look like that. I am 60.

I look like I am in my 40′s, that is not how 60 year olds look today. Just wanted to share that’s all. I do agree with the person who commented on the nudity in the younger pictures. I would post my pix, but I am concerned since this is a very public sight and I am not a show off type.

    Thank you.

  349. Yuli says:

    no way!!!!
    You’re kidding me!!!

  351. Camille says:

This must be what they did prior to photoshop!

  352. Naomi says:

How wonderful! I must put more effort in to my appearance I think! Amazing what you can do when you are an artist!!

  353. Harper says:

Intriguing. This shows just how much art is involved in photography.

  354. Billie says:

I only hope I would look that good as a 60 year old. I think that is the best photo :)

  355. great photos, they look like real, but i think they are photoshopped…

  356. Jackson says:

WTF? No 30 yr old I know dresses like that.

  357. SuKelly says:

WoW amazing!! Just shows you what good maky up and lighting can do…Age is just a number- it’s how you previece yourself that counts these days..

  358. Absolutely incredible.

I can see how at 10, they tipped her face back to make her face smaller. Then they moved the lighting to control and generate shadows as she was aged.

I would say it says don’t worry about aging, there is always beauty :)

    Ron

  359. Benoy says:

    its amazing, how creative!

  360. Marebear says:

Why did they feel like the 10 yr old pic, she needed to be topless?

  361. woaaw thats amazing i would love to have tha done to me!

  362. rob wallace says:

I’m impressed. This is isn’t your every day masterclass demo. This is what search engines and the content of the internet is amazing. Getting to look at this page wasn’t possible for so many years.

saw this linked from fb; had this to say; thought i’d share with everyone else:

no wonder the 40s are the beginnings of the prime of life, it shows in her confidence of style & simplicity… 30s tend to overdo the last stab at being youthful (i used to wear wild nail polish colors with outfits that matched for the entire week–only a classic french now…); 20s wear the freedom of expression with/without clothes; 10 was just naked so you can’t really call it tens/teens-without-age-wrinkles & spots. ahh, been there, doin that… looking forward to 50 on up, Lord willing… who’s the french translator in the house on the yes-to-this no-to-that statements? what would i be doing with stem cells now??? ;D

  364. adv:syam says:

  371. Babloo says:

    Awesome, amazing snaps mindblowing.

  372. Really amazing pictures! Special effects can really make anybody look much younger or much older!

  373. S. Akins says:

I personally find this type of photographing very interesting. I am going through my own personal stage about just what and who determines what is beauty. I was wondering who and what sets the standards. I find it difficult to swallow that once you are past a certain age what you are not beautiful anymore. I think that in our culture men tend to see all these magazine articles and pictures of 20 something women and that is what they base their standards on. I feel personally it is bullshit. I have watched America’s Top Model and other shows on how they pick these women and they are not any more beautiful than I am. I just don’t get where our society gets off. Beauty is definitely in the eye of the behold and what one person finds attractive is not necessarily the same for some one else. I do have an issue though with the person who wrote that they would do the 10 year old. Sick if you ask me.

  374. Joe says:

Nice job were it not for, in my opinion, a viable means of making a mature woman, even if only 18 to 20 in reality, look as if she’s merely ten. There also seemed to be a lack of attention to aging her hands.

  375. Eli says:

    This is simply astounding!

That 10 year old one is my favorite. ;)

  376. JHG says:

That’s a great cretive idea and shows well the versatility of the make up and the pose used to picture what’s desired.

  377. Chiarina says:

Fascinating, but why is the sixty year old given such a horrific hairstyle?

  378. eileen says:

i have always used various moisturizers for my face. I work on a military installation and the soldiers believe i am about 35 and find it difficult to believe i am 52. I went to the doctor the other day and the Rep. was shocked i was as old as i am she thought i was 30 and just coming home from Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). I am glad i have continually used moisturizers throughout my life, not to boost but i feel healthy and feel better than ever.

  379. Yvr says:

This is not just the result of makeups; the photographer also does tricks with the composition of the photo (esp. on the 10 years old one). By shooting from below the chin, the face looks shorter and more child-like. Second, the older photographs were taken from further away, giving the more graceful look that one gets as one gets older. The model was also acting her age greatly (esp. the sharp eyes of the older photos vs the cheerful eyes in the younger).

Makeup alone cannot produce the illusion here.

  384. NativeRose says:

I thought the photos were great. Some people think 50-60 yrs can’t look good. I have know women in this age range , whom don’t have any wrinkles. It can be genetics, taking care of your skin. I’m 55 and my skin is still smooth. I use good face cream, wear a hat in the sun, drink lots of water. don’t drink or smoke.

  385. Please, show me a 50 year old woman who really looks like that. Actually, just put her in a box and send her to New Zealand, thanks.

  386. Some genuinely good stuff on this website , I enjoy it.

  387. Hollinator says:

I think she is beautiful in all stages of life!!! And although I have not been considered beautiful in the same way, cute sometimes but never beautiful, and have had not had any money or privilege in my life, I still hope that I age even a fraction as well regardless. :) I’m almost 40 now and am looking forward to my mature beauty!

  388. Twee says:

Let’s see that 60 yr old if she was a smoking, hard drinking & hard living woman….maybe add in many weight gains and family problems/losses and some heartbreak…it is just not real enough…It is totally best case scenario.

  389. Angela coleman says:

I’m a 41yr old female looking to be a model

  390. stay says:

    Interesting photos. A beautiful woman.

  391. EvaRuri says:

This is awesome greatness!! All the photo look like a different lady all beautiful in it’s own way!

  392. Ladyday says:

This is possibly what the age transformation of a wealthy, privileged, surgically enhanced and carefree “model” could look like however it is by no means an accurate account of the reality faced by most.
If you were to do this experiment on a non model and took into account a stressful life, possibly one in poverty and considered factors such as hair thinning, sun sports, skin discolouration, wrinkles, lines, lack of skin elasticity due to decrease in collagen once menopause starts, sagging face. What if there had been weight gain or loss then this would affect the face.
Also the neck is the place wear age really shows and in these photos her neck is exactly the same. Noses and Ears also get bigger as we age.
Overall, this is really badly done and for people to say “wow, she looks great for 50″ blah blah….it is NOT real silly people!

  393. You realize therefore significantly in relation to this subject, made me personally consider it from so many numerous angles. Its like men and women are not involved until it is one thing to do with Woman gaga! Your personal stuffs nice. Always maintain it up!

  394. It’s actually a cool and helpful piece of info. I am satisfied that you just shared this helpful information with us. Please keep us up to date like this. Thanks for sharing.

  396. I was pretty impressed by this.

  397. 7LeagueBoots says:

Neat idea, but she (or the photographer) has some really trashy ideas of what people would wear at different ages… maybe they were going for the cheap prostitute looks?

  398. Fivezoneq says:
